Feature Request: A Placement Normalizer for bid adjustments beyond Target ACOS
Here's the explanation:
When applying general bid increaser rules, I often run into overbidding issues especially when campaigns have a high placement (bid multiplier). This leads to higher CPCs and skyrocketing ACOS especially in highly competitive niches like beauty, supplements, pet and other
For example:
Let’s say I want to increase a bid by $0.10 and set $0.10 bid increment in bid increaser rule. If the campaign has a 500% placement, the final bid increment will technically shoots up to $0.60 — way too high!
On the flip side, if I go with $0.02 to be cautious, it barely makes change in my final bid if campaign has no placement.
The Solution:
A Placement Normalizer would allow us to increase bids by a set amount ($0.10 or any) while normalizing the final bid with campaign’s placement. This way the final bid remains balanced and effective, no matter what placement is applied.
Bonus Use Case:
Nowadays there's trendy thing about placement, sellers are wishing to eliminate product page placement completely by increasing other placement's % which has taken placement to highest level and this feature will help them too.
I believe this feature will be a game changer for those who focus much on placements or who use high placement modifier in their accounts. Plus it’s an optional feature if you wanna use it, you can; otherwise don't utilize.
I’d really appreciate your quick consideration of this feature request.
