I rarely use the daily budget rule but now I find myself in a situation where I need to do so. I'm currently tasked with tightly controlling the budgets. Upon deep diving in rule, I've noticed that the existing options like baseline budget, min and max budget isn't suitable for me.
Let me explain:
I have thousands of campaigns each having a different baseline, min and max. I'd need to create a bunch of rules and apply them properly otherwise campaign budgets will be compromised. I can't afford to under budget or over budget campaigns randomly, especially since I'm operating in the supplement niche, which has the potential to spend 10 times more in a day compared to the daily average.
Therefore I request that you add the same percentage based limit of daily average ad spend as we have in bidding rules. This way I could ensure that all underperforming campaigns stay under budget while allowing good campaigns to spend more and we could also prevent insane budgeting.
Additionally I request customizable look back periods (each rule level) to review average of desired date range and days to observe too to avoid aggressive actions on daily basis.
